art tart, from the start

When I first ventured into the city, I interned at a little gallery in Soho, among some uber talented, underpaid gals. A semester later, with open eyes, I left with some lessons:

• walk fast - slow walkers are going nowhere, slowly
• dont work for free, cite the emancipation proclamation when necessary
• if you want it, someone else does too
• favors win friends

I'll miss the fanatics and the freaks...
